Stefan's School of Movement

A workshop open for everyone who wants  to start, refine or expand their acrobatics practice. 

Our aim in this workshop is to decode the acrobatics practice. Crossing the barriers in between disciplines, we are going to look at the most universally valid principles in acrobatics, the fundamental  patterns and their possible derivations. 

Through practice and theory we will cover:

• How do we support the practice and prevent injuries?
• How do we engage more playful  and creative with the practice? 
• Improvisation and flow.
• Transitions.
• Adaptive Technique.
• Creative thinking. 
• Principles vs forms. 

Level: beginner - intermediate.

The workshop will be taught by Stefan Crainic, a ‘Fighting Monkey’ instructor and ex capoeira practitioner and teacher, in collaboration with Josephine Haas, professional dancer who worked for various companies and creates her own work, most recent piece being ‘swallow me’.
