Metamorphosis
This course aims to allow you to comfortably move on 4 limbs, while developing a deeper understanding of how you can articulate your joints and create more complexity within the context of animal locomotion. It was designed with the goal of enhancing your explorative behavior, creativity and capacity to move with more ease and freedom.
Course Structure:
The course consists of 10 classes.
Each class contains 4 tasks.
All tasks are explained in depth and demonstrated so you have a clear understanding of the constraints and the questions raised.
The session should take you no more that 1 hour in total, with an average of 15 min/task.
What to expect:
At the end of the course you will have improved your awareness, strength and flexibility, while increasing your capacity of creative thinking and of moving with more freedom.
In the last class, I will guide you through an integrative process and explain to you how to further explore the landscape of your body using the tasks you've learned and beyond.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who is interested in animal locomotion, dance and theatre. For movers, dancers, martial artists, yoga, pilates instructors and practitioners. For anyone who wants to expand or start their movement journey.
Requirements:
No previous experience needed.
The tasks were designed so you can practice at the comfort of your home, but taking them in larger spaces could be also an option.
I hope through this course I will change your understanding of what is possible when we move on 4 limbs. It is a subject I am very passionate about since I was a teenager and started my education in capoeira. Now it is time to share with you my most recent exploration in this field.
Lifetime access.
All classes are downloadable!
